Sure enough, I went on a little photo-taking expedition this afternoon, and have returned triumphant. These are my favorites of the pictures I took.



This is the school's church, which, after the post office, is my favorite building on campus. It is where I take my organ lessons and occasionally I sneak in there to do homework when the library gets too loud. Sometimes when it's warm outside, they'll open the doors so you can hear the organ music drift throughout South Campus, which is lovely to hear.



This our dining hall, seen from the church's parking lot. It looks very imposing, doesn't it? This makes a lot of sense if you've ever tried to get lunch in the servery at noon. I consider myself victorious if I can make it out with a piece of cake a bowl of corn salad.



We have a pathway that passes through the whole campus. I won't name it, because that might give away where I go to school. (LOL as if posting pics is the act of a person who wishes to remain anonymous.) Anyway, as you can imagine, the trees are really pretty, especially in the fall. If you're wondering why there are branches in all my shots, you have found the culprits.



This is a building very close to my heart, as it houses the Classics faculty. While it may smell weird and get uncomfortably hot, this is a [school name] institution. While wandering around in there one day, I found a photo showing this same building circa 1900. It looks almost the same as it did then, except it now has a parking lot. Well, and there are no men wandering around in top hats anymore. :(



This is our library. I'm not really sure what I was going for with this shot. It's like the tree in the foreground is your annoying friend who jumps into all your pictures at the last minute, as he's kind of detracting from the focus of this pic. Anyway, our library is kind of incongruous with the other old buildings pics I've posted, but I'm very fond of it because it's out of place. Yes, the library might have the architectural equivalent of shoulder pads and wearing too much hairspray, but it's like the friend that's got your back no matter what. Well, until finals. >:(

I'm still really tired from earlier today, so I think I'm going to chill out the rest of the night. Maybe I'll watch something Gordon Ramsay-ish on Hulu or finish my "fun" book.
